Tamil Cultural Association of Waterloo Region operates Global relief fund within its administration. This is to channel all donations for International or Canadian charitable or non-profit organizations.
TCA is one of the organizers of East Indian Walkathon in the region of Waterloo. Other participants include India Canada Association, Gujarati Association, Grand River Malayalee Association, KW Punjabi organisation and Sri Ram Dham Temple, Kitchener.
Annual walkathon takes place in Waterloo or Cambridge area in the month of September. Proceeds go to Grand River Hospital, St. Mary’s Hospital and or Cambridge Memorial Hospital. A tax receipt will be issue by the donor recipient and not by TCA.
Zeffy – Optional Contribution
Unlike other donation platforms, Zeffy does not charge transaction fees, so your entire donation goes directly to Global Relief fund. You have the option to add a contribution to help Zeffy keep running its services. If you don’t want to add a contribution, in the confirmation message, just choose Other in the drop-down menu and then enter $0.
